AIC offers a variety of psychological evaluations for children and adults. Whether you are seeking clarification or a current diagnosis, want to understand what is getting worried your child is having difficulties at school, we can help. All of our evaluations begin with a 1 to 1.5 hour initial interview and end with a similar feedback session and a written report/letter with recommendations.
Assessment to determine if Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder is present includes cognitive testing, as well as completion of questionnaires/rating scales from various sources. This evaluation can be done with adults, adolescents or children.
Used to understand if you/your child are suffering from emotional difficulties such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, etc. or to assess if a diagnosis you have already been given is accurate.
COGNITIVE & ACADEMIC ASSESSMENT
Provides information about how you understand and process information and what if any challenges you may face in their academic progress, including possible learning disabilities. This sort of evaluation can also be used to assess if a child qualifies as gifted.
